I love the color of these pants; they scream "fall" when I look at them!! When the weather gets chiller I'm going to start pairing these pants with knit sweaters, booties, scarves-- all the fall/winter neccessities! If you haven't noticed already I am very very VERY into gold accessories. I have nothing against silver, but gold just looks better against my skin tone.

A couple posts ago I wrote of how I'm figuring out my next steps in life. Well, I'm super excited to say that I have some interviews to look forward to, and I feel REALLY good about this potential for change. Don't want to get too excited just yet because nothing is set in stone, but I will definitely keep posting updates!

Yay, I did it! I chopped off all my unhealthy hair. I did it last night over a trash can that I placed over the sink haha. Don't ask me how I managed to cut the hair on the back-side of my head; my answer is going to be, "I just kept cutting and cutting". It looks a little uneven and messy, but I wasn't striving for a perfect look, I was striving for a "go away split ends, healthy" look. A healthy look needs to come with a glowing outfit so today I glow with some bright whites and a lovely orange, all topped off with gold accessories.

In my company's eyes, today marked the official 1 year anniversary that I've been working here. 1 year here seriously felt like 3; I think it's time for a new (and REAL) job. I mean, being an assistant/receptionist has taught me a lot, but I don't want to be anyone's "slave" anymore. I'm unsure of what next steps to take. I do not wish to go back to school, so for now I'm just keeping my eyes and ears open in the search for my next step as a 20-something year old.

weekend in Vegas!

Alright, time to get back on the blog wagon. These instagrammed pictures don't even begin to cover how great of a weekend I had. I HIGHLY recommend eating at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris; the salmon with quinoa is so so so good. The restaurant is located right on The Strip, so you can sit on the patio and do some people watching (aka: sitting and judging people who walk by) and you can also watch Bellagio's water ballet! This weekend definitely treated me well; I love relaxing weekends like this!
